Travolta to testify in extortion plot
21 September 2009

John Travolta is to testify at the extortion trial that involved the death of his 16-year-old son, Jett.
Bahamas paramedic Tarino Lightbourne and former politician Pleasant Bridgewater are accused of attempting to extort $25 million from the actor. Police claim Lightbourne, who performed CPR on Jett after he suffered a massive seizure, and Bridgewater demanded the money from the Hollywood actor or they would go public over a document involving the hospital transport of his son.
Travolta and his wife, Kelly Preston, will attend the court in Bahamas this week.
Both Lightbourne and Bridgewater deny the charges.
