Tyrese Gibson’s Robert Epps will reunite with Josh Duhamel’s William Lennox in Michael Bay’s Transformers: The Last Knight

Following the unveiling of the new Autobot Squeeks, it has been revealed that Tyrese Gibson’s Robert Epps will reunite with Lt. Colonel William Lennox in the currently filming Transformers: The Last Knight from filmmaker Michael Bay.

Gibson’s Epps appeared in the first three films in the series, Transformers, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, and Transformers: Dark of the Moon, alongside Josh Duhamel where the two of them played soldiers caught in the middle of the Cybertronian battles on Earth.

Reported to be Bay’s last Transformers film, Transformers: The Last Knight is currently filming with a cast that includes Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, Isabela Moner who is known for her roles in 100 Things to Do Before High School and Growing Up Fisher as the female lead, Izabella, with Jerrod Carmichael, Laura Haddock and Sir Anthony Hopkins.

Optimus Prime and Bumblebee will return for the Autobots whilst Megatron and Barricade will return for the Decepticons.

Taking to Instagram, Gibson posted a photo of himself with Bay and the caption “Rumor has it............ Nah.... Robert Epps is back!!!!!! #T5 summer 2017 just got even more interesting...... @MichaelBay aka #MrImAlwaysAwesome”

Set for release on June 23 2017, Transformers: The Last Knight has been written by Iron Man scribes Art Marcum and Matt Holloway alongside Black Hawk Down’s Ken Nolan and will be Produced by Lorenzo di Bonaventura, Don Murphy and Tom DeSanto.

Following the release of Transformers: The Last Knight next year, plan for the franchise already include a Bumblebee spin-off film to be released June 8, 2018 and the sixth Transformers outing planned for release on June 28 2019.
