Ultron not a part of Edgar Wright’s Ant-Man

Following the announcement that Ultron will be the villain of Joss Whedon's follow up to Avengers Assemble, Edgar Wright has confirmed that the villain will not appear in his long awaited Ant-Man adaptation.

In Marvel Comics lore, Ant-Man aka Hank Pym had a hand in creating Ultron, but when asked by Science Fiction if Ultron was ever a part of his Ant-Man storyline, The World's End filmmaker sad "I cannot really get into that, but umm… I'll say no. No he wasn't."

Ant-Man will arrive in cinemas after Avengers: Age of Ultron as part of Phase Three from Marvel Studios.
