Vanessa Hudgens back to glam at Captain America premiere
Vanessa Hudgens looked backed to her glamorous self yesterday as she attended the Captain America: The First Avenger premiere in LA. Wearing a short and summery beige and sequened dress and amazing stacked nude platform heels, Vanessa worked the red carpet at The El Capitan Theatre looking a million miles away from recent images of her on set for her new film 'Gimme Shelter' which she describes as;
"Unrecognizable. Even when I'm like kind of done-up, I look in the mirror and I'm like, 'I don't know who that is.'"
The 22 year old star had an amazing make under for her role as a young and pregnant girl who runs away from her abusive Mother to look for her Dad who works on wall street, tries to make her get an abortion, which she refuses and is then forced to live on the streets. High School Musical this is not! As Vanessa explained;
"It was shocking, but at the same time so exciting. Now it gives me the opportunity to be able to step out of what people see me as and allows to them to get out of their heads and be able to just experience the film."
We can't wait to see Vanessa spread her acting wings and take on a meatier role, however we'll have to wait until 2012 when Gimme Shelter, starring Rosario Dawson and Brendan Frazer, is released.
