Ving Rhames confirmed to return as Luther Stickell for Christopher McQuarrie’s Mission: Impossible V

Mission: Impossible V starts production this week and taking to Twitter, Director Christopher McQuarrie welcomed the veteran actor to the production.

Using the hashtag MI5Diary, McQuarrie wrote "Welcome back, Mr. Rhames. cc: ?@TomCruise? ?@simonpegg? ?@Renner4Real?"

Rhames has appeared in all four previous instalments of the series as Luther Stickell, and is the only character besides Ethan Hunt (Tom Cruise) to do so, and will reunite him with returning cast members Cruise, Simon Pegg and Jeremy Renner,

Mission: Impossible V will open in the US on December 25 2015 and in the UK on December 26 2015 and also feature Rebecca Ferguson as the new female lead.
