X-Men and Les Misérables favourite Hugh Jackman honoured with his own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame

14 December 2012

X-Men legend Hugh Jackman has been honoured with his very own star on Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The Les Misérables actor was presented with the 2,487th star on the Walk of Fame and the ceremony yesterday where his Les Misérables co stars Anne Hathaway and Amanda Seyfried were in attendance with Oscar winning director Tom Hooper.

Jackman's wife Deborra-Lee Furness and their two children were also present, and talking to E! Online "It's kind of a surreal day. I'll probably always remember Thursday, December 13, and I think I'm either going straight from here to buy a lottery ticket or to a casino, because it just feels like someone is looking down on me in a very nice way at this moment.

I'm excited. The star is right here outside where I got to host the Oscars, and if the movie gets nominated, it'll be nice to get up there and show a little bit of the show to everybody."

Jackman will next be seen in the aforementioned Les Misérables opens on January 11 and also stars Russell Crowe, Helena Bonham Carter, Isabelle Allen, Sacha Baron Cohen, Eddie Redmayne and Samantha Barks.

He will also be seen in the ensemble comedy Movie 43 on Januar 25 and will also return to his role of Logan aka Wolverine in James Mangold's The Wolverine on July 25.
