X-Men: Days of Future Past was one of the highlights to a year jam packed full of cinematic gems, and word is that the long awaited Rogue Cut will receive a home release in summer 2015.
The extended edition of the superhero epic will be released as an entirely "distinct film" from the original release, with "distinct extras" and restore in its entirety the scene featuring Anna Paquin's Rogue, which was cut from the original Days of Future Past edit.

Paguin's Rogue was only seen in the closing scene of the film, alongside some notable faces from the X-Men franchise.
The Rogue Cut was at one point rumoured for a cinematic release, however the next entry in 20th Century Fox's X-Men franchise will be Bryan Singer's X-Men: Apocalypse which will feature Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Jennifer Lawrence, Evan Peters, Channing Tatum, Nicholas Hoult, Hugh Jackman and Oscar Isaac as the titular Apocalypse and hits cinemas on May 19 2016.
