SYNOPSIS
Suffering an unexpected collision with several wayward shopping trolleys in a supermarket car park, teenage friends PJ (Angelo D’Angelo) and Goose (James Lugton) not only manage to write off their BMX bikes, they also cause Judy (Nicole Kidman), the young check-out girl responsible for the trolleys, to lose her job. With little else to occupy their time, the trio take up fishing for oysters in the hope of raising some money to repair their bikes. But their efforts land them a haul of a different kind when they stumble across a stash of contraband Police Band Radios, hidden by a gang of dangerous bank robbers who had planned to use them to monitor police movements during a future heist. After deciding to sell the radios on to raise their much-needed funds, PJ, Goose and Judy soon discover that both the cops and the crooks are after them and their catch.
