SYNOPSIS

Mick Dundee is an adventurer in the truest sense. He is an ace crocodile hunter who lives in the wilds of the Australian Outback. He has even survived the dangers of New York City. However, his latest adventure may be the biggest test for him yet. Mick Dundee is traveling to that bizarre netherworld – Los Angeles, California.

The big challenge in Spring 2001 will be not how American TV contestants survive the Australian Outback, but how a simple Aussie survives the City of Angels. Wrestling crocodiles is nothing compared to swimming with sharks in Los Angeles.

Hollywood. Beverly Hills. Swimming pools. Movie Stars. These are the perils that Paul Hogan faces in “Crocodile Dundee in Los Angeles.” Hogan stars once again as the beloved Mick “Crocodile” Dundee, while Linda Kozlowski returns as his partner Sue Charleton in this third installment of the widely popular comedy series that takes the unsuspecting adventurer into the wilds of Southern California. Accompanying Mick and Sue this time is their young son, Mikey(Serge Cockburn).

In Chapter Three of “Croc’s” saga, Sue, his American-born significant other, is temporarily assigned to the Los Angeles bureau of her father’s newspaper. It seems the original bureau chief died under suspicious circumstances, and Sue is called back to fill in. Mick, going through a slow period as a crocodile wrangler, thinks it a good time to expose their nine-year-old son Mikey to the world outside their small Australian town of Walkabout Creek.

For the amiable Mick, he not only gets to play dad and tourist in Los Angeles, but also a sleuth from Down Under when he accidentally gets caught up in Sue’s investigation. One hilarious scene found Mick and Mikey actually stopping traffic on a major freeway as police cars and helicopters zero in as they try to rescue a stray animal. A safety patrol boy, Mick Dundee is not.
