SYNOPSIS
WOOLFWOMEN: NOW OR NEVER. WoolfWomen: Now or Never is a Film Documentary about a group of five Gen Z female thrill seekers who embark on a crazy skateboard expedition to Sumela – an ancient monastery perched high in the Pontic Mountains.
The fearless five call themselves the WoolfWomen and in their shared vision and passion for the sport, they epitomise the essence of an all-female skating community, as they skate open and dangerous road along the way to a destination no skateboarder has ventured before.
Downhill skating involves racing down steep roads on a longboard at speeds of up to 80kmph, whilst negotiating oncoming traffic. Led by Mama Woolf aka Jenny Jungle, a daredevil downhill skater with a world ranking of number two, she is joined by fellow professionals Anna Pixner from Austria; Lisa Peters from the Netherlands; Jasmijn Hanegraef from Belgium; Alejandra Salamandra from Colombia.
