Colin Firth excited to reunite with his Bridget Jones co-stars
The King's Speech Oscar winner Colin Firth who has starred in films including Love Actually, A Single Man, Mamma Mia! and the St. Trinian's series has spoken about his excitement of reuniting with the cast of Bridget Jones's Diary.
He tells CNN "It'll be nice to be reunited, it would be like one of those rather tempestuous '70s pop bands trying to get together in a way, we always had a good time."
While director Paul Feig left the project after completing a new draft for the film it is still set to begin production in January 2012 with Renée Zellweger set to reprise her role for the third instalment.
Firth can be seen in Tomas Alfredson's Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy as Bill Haydon and will next be seen with Cameron Diaz in Michael Hoffman's Coen brothers Gambit on September 14.
GAMBIT IS OUT ON SEPTEMBER 14
