Gotham’s Morena Baccarin and Arrow’s Jessica De Gouw wanted for Ryan Reynold’s Deadpool
With a Deadpool adaptation finally coming to cinemas starring Ran Reynolds, it has been announced that six actresses are viewing for the lead female role in the eagerly anticipated film.
Deadline report that Homeland and Gotham bombshell Morena Baccarin, Arrow's Jessica De Gouw, Vikings's Sarah Green, Teen Wolf's Crystal Reed, Red Band Society's Rebecca Rittenhouse and Orange is the New Black's Taylor Schilling are all under consideration for the coveted role.
Tim Miller is directing the film which will see Reynolds reprise his role of the merc with the mouth from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, with production due to start in Vancouver in March.
Simon Kinberg who serves as Producer on the forthcoming film has already revealed that Deadpool will tie in with the other X-Men films explaining "There's definitely a sort of overall plan that we've all been talking about for the X-Men universe now and Deadpool obviously fits into that."
Deadpool is slated to arrive in cinemas next February, and Reynolds can next be seen in Woman in Gold alongside Helen Mirren this April.
