James Franco says he’s not planning a biopic
Actor and director James Franco famed for the likes of Pineapple Express, 127 Hours and the Sam Raimi directed Spider-Man trilogy has denied reports that he is making a film based on his or Lindsay Lohan's life.
Reports of an autobiographical film emerged last month after he made a casting call for a "James Franco type" and a "Lindsay Lohan type", however the Your Highness and Spring Breakers actor explained to E! "That's something I really didn't publicise.
We just put out a casting call for a Lindsay Lohan and James Franco type. People just saw the casting call and picked that up and made up a lot of stories about it."
The film is currently untitled and will apparently be about two Hollywood celebrities and Franco added "It's really a project that's really under the radar for now."
Franco recently joined the Jason Statham actioner Homefront and returns to cinemas with Oz: The Great and the Powerful from filmmaker Sam Raimi on March 8 next year alongside the gorgeous talents Mila Kunis and Michelle Williams.
