Kimberley Marren talks to Logan Lerman and Milla Jovovich at The Three Musketeers World Premiere

07 October 2011

The stars were out in force for the world premiere of The Three Musketeers in 3D at London's Vue Westfield in attendance were Luke Evans, Ray Stevenson, Matthew Mcfadyen, Logan Lerman, Milla Jovovich, Orlando Bloom, Freddie Fox, Gabriella Wilde and Director Paul W.S. Anderson.

Our presenter  Kimberley Marren was lucky enough to be on the red carpet where she got to speak to young hero Logan Lerman, the Musketeers themselves Matthew Mcfadyen and Ray Stevenson as well as the villains of the piece Milla Jovovich and Orlando Bloom.

Matthew Macfadyen said "The sword fighting had to be very accurate, there was no cheating, it wasn't sort of stage fighting but it was good fun."

While director Anderson said of the locations "I went to Bavaria to go on a location scout, and if you had told me a year ago that I'd be shooting a Three Musketeers movie in Bavaria, I'd say you were crazy." While his Porthos said "They opened their doors  to us, we got to shoot in places never seen before!"

When asked about her character, Milla Jovovich said "I think every modern woman sees similarities with M'Lady De Winter, she is a modern woman stuck in the sixteenth century. I mean in the sixteenth hundreds, women didn't have the right to own property, or have their own money or leave the house unattendended, so to have a woman so focused on her career, who wants to be the best at what she does but she has so many boundaries around her, my heart went out to her and I think all the women who see this will be like 'you go girl, you whip those boys into shape!"

Speaking about Lorgan Lerman, Gabriella Wilde who plays love interest Constance said of the experience of working with him "It was great, Logan's such a sweet guy and a very talented actor." While Lerman said "it was a dream come true to be a Musketeer."

When asked about how his fanbase will react to him being a villain, Orlando Bloom said "He's only a little villain, I think they're going to love it."
