Lily Collins went through insane training for Mirror Mirror
Following her revealing that she auditioned for the currently filming Snow White and the Huntsman, rising star Lily Collins has insisted that it is very different to her Mirror Mirror.
She tells Access Hollywood "The images of our films are very, very different, they’re both kind of untold stories, so you know they’re different in their own ways.
Our Snow White starts off as the fairytale princess we all know and love,” she continued, “and then she progresses into a young woman and much more of a fighter. But it’s not an edgy version of the story or a darker version. It’s very much a comedic adventure and I think the other one is a little darker.”
And while her Snow White isn't a warrior princess like Stewart's Snow White, she recalls that the training was insane adding “This was insane training, I’ve been fight training and fencing for about three months now. I was kickboxing, doing some stuff on wires... it’s been really intense. I’ve gotten a lot of bumps and bruises, but so far no bad injuries!”
While there is no release date confirmed for the UK, Mirror Mirror will arrive Stateside on March 16. Collins is currently filming comedy drama The English Teacher with Julianne Moore for director Craig Zisk and has The Mortal Instruments which will see her as heroine Clary Fray in pre production.
