Olivia Wilde and Jason Sudeikis team for Christopher Storer’s directorial debut Relanxious

15 March 2012

Gorgeous Hollywood starlet Olivia Wilde has certainly come a long way, building an eclectic career with the likes of TRON: Legacy, Cowboy & Aliens, The Change-Up and television favourite House and word is that she is continuing her streak by teaming up with Jason Sudeikis for comedy Relanxious.

Relanxious marks the directorial debut of writer Christopher Storer and finds Sudeikis as George, a man crippled with agoraphobia who just can’t handle leaving his house. He meets a woman named Barrett who is struggling with her own serious anxiety issues.

They become smitten chatting on the phone, talking about the dates they’d enjoy if only they could stomach going out into the world. But as their connection grows, they begin to think about putting aside their problems and finding real love.

Storer plans to kick off shooting in Chicago this summer with 21 Jump Street's Brie Larson onboard as Wilde sister and Sudeikis’ SNL cohort Fred Armisen will play George’s only friend and contact with the outside world.

Wilde has a few films ready for release including Butter, The Words, Deadfall and Welcome to People and she has just wrapped filming the Steve Carell comedy The Incredible Burt Wonderstone and has since moved on to film Ron Howard's Rush.

Sudeikis on the other hand was last seen in Horrible Bosses and has Movie 43 and The Campaign in post production.
