Sheen’s age worries on New Moon
01 October 2009
Michael Sheen was more Old Moon than New Moon - admitting that he struggled to cope with how much younger his co-stars were.
The 40-year-old actor plays the evil head vampire in the Twilight sequel, but admits that acting with young co-stars like Dakota Fanning, Kristen Stewart and Robert Pattinson was odd.
He said, "I think it's a good job that I was playing a sort of millennia old vampire because that's exactly how it felt to be on a set with people as beautiful as Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart and all that lot.
"I felt like the old, decrepit uncle who's just hanging around trying to get in with the cool kids. But that kind of helped with the character so it was fun."
New Moon is released on November 27.
