Snow White and the Huntsman villainess Charlize Theron stalked Rupert Wyatt for Agent 13 role
While she returns to cinemas in just over a week as Evil Queen Ravenna in Rupert Sanders' Snow White and the Huntsman followed by the the June release of Ridley Scott's Prometheus, Charlize Theron has said that she immediately "fell in love" with the concept behind Agent 13.
The gorgeous South African Oscar winner signed onto Agent 13 last month and she joked that she "stalked" Rise of the Planet of the Apes helmer Rupert Wyatt in order to be part of the project once she heard its initial pitch telling MTV News "It's a pitch that I heard a month or so ago and I fell in love with this pitch, and ironically, at the same time, I really wanted to have a general meeting - 'cause you know how I stalk directors - with Rupert 'cause I really love what he's been doing.
I brought up the pitch to him and he said, 'I really love this. I think we should talk about it'. And so it was really just the universe coming together."
While Theron signed on to the film, she is still unclear which role she will play in the adaptation of the 1988 comic centring on survivors of a lost civilisation called Lemuria and added "You know, we're writing it right now so it's a very, very loose pitch, but it's an alternate world story so it's big and epic and cool."
Theron is also attached to George Miller's Mad Max: Fury Road, Peter Berg's Hancock sequel and Scott Derrickson's Two Eyes Staring.
