The Hangover: Part III in the works

It's only been in cinemas a week, but it seems that a follow up to The Hangover: Part II is already in the works with Warner Bros. approaching Craig Mazin to write a third and potentially final instalment.

The Hangover: Part II is currently riding high at the box office, taking an estimated $200 million worldwide, and while there were talks of a third boozy outing before Part II was released it is thought that the only sticking point would be the cast.

No word on the plot yet, though director Todd Phillips clearly up for a third round of carnage, but during the production of the second instalment, Zach Galifianakis was constantly, vocally negative about the film so he may be nervous about a proposed third instalment.

However with the reception that The Hangover: Part II has had, the franchise stars can likely command any price for them to return to the roles.
