SYNOPSIS
Amour, winner of the 2012 Cannes Festival Palme d?Or, is directed by Michael Haneke (White Ribbon, Funny Games, Hidden) and stars Jean-Louis Trintignant, Emmanuelle Riva and BAFTA award winner Isabelle Huppert (The King’s Daughters, The Piano Teacher).
George and Anne are in their eighties. They are cultivated, retired music teachers. Their daughter, who is also a musician, lives abroad with her family. One day, Anne has an attack. The couple’s bond of love is severely tested.
Amour will be released in the UK by Artificial Eye on 16 November.
