Film4 were delighted to pick up four Awards for THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN at last night’s 2023 EE BAFTA Film Awards, including Outstanding British Film, marking another hugely successful Awards run for the film commissioning arm of Channel 4.

Film4-backed THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN won four BAFTAs: Outstanding British Film; Original Screenplay; Supporting Actor for Barry Keoghan and Supporting Actress for Kerry Condon.

THE BANSHEES OF INISHERIN marks the fourth collaboration between Martin McDonagh and Film4, who supported his short film SIX SHOOTER (2004), and then backed his next three features IN BRUGES, SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS and the BAFTA and Academy Award-winning THREE BILLBOARDS OUTSIDE EBBING, MISSOURI.
