Luckily, OLBG have created a definitive list and map of each country’s favourite horror film and it’s the perfect place to hunt for some world class horror films.

You can view the full research here.

The research analysed search data in every country for 200 of the most popular horror films in the world, to reveal every country’s favourite horror movie. 

The world’s favourite horror film is A Quiet Place, which is the most popular in 32 countries. 

Some movies proved less popular, which might be because they are too scary for most of the world to stomach. Train to Busan, was only favoured by two countries (Vietnam and Singapore) and The Curse of La Llorona was only popular in Belize… and you’d have to be very brave to watch them.
