Portfolio Entertainment Carves the Way for DECOYS Securing Global Distribution Rights To Mockumentary Series

The mockumentary style series, deeply rooted in fact, takes its inspiration from acclaimed precursors such as Best In Show.  Decoys lifts the veil on the cut-throat, winner-take-all sub-culture of competitive wooden duck carving.

The six-part series launched on CBC Gem in July 2020 to rave reviews.

Decoys is produced by Counterfeit Pictures for CBC Gem.  It was created and written by David Pelech (Fighting with My Family, Hello Ladies).

Portfolio Entertainment, has secured global distribution rights to the new comedy series Decoys (6 x 15)’, which it is launching at MIPTV.

In its roundup of the best of TV in 2020, The Globe and Mail (Canada’s leading national newspaper), gave Honourable Mention to the entire cast of this “delightfully droll” series in the Best Performance category.
