Rooney Mara and Nicholas Hoult team for Charlie McDowell Afterlife Romance ‘The Discovery’
She can currently be seen in the lacklustre PAN, and word is that sought after Actress Rooney Mara is set to team with Nicholas Hoult for the Afterlife Romance ‘The Discovery’.
The Wrap reports that Charlie McDowell will direct the indie that is a high-concept project, set in a world where existence of an afterlife has been scientifically proven.
Written by McDowell and Justin Lader, shooting is set to begin in January in Rhode Island with Hoult playing the son of the man who discovers the afterlife, with Mara starring as his love interest.
Hoult will next be seen in Owen Harris’s Kill Your Friends on November 6 opposite Craig Roberts whilst Mara will next be seen in Carol this November alongside Cate Blanchett, and has Jim Sheridan’s The Secret Scripture, Benedict Andrews’s Blackbird, Garth Davis’s Lion and a Terrence Malick Project in post production.
