It has been reported that the final films in the popular Divergent Series starring Shailene Woodley have been given brand new and much more exciting names.
Originally titled The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 1 and The Divergent Series: Allegiant - Part 2 the third entry in the series will now be known as The Divergent Series: Allegiant and the finale will be known as The Divergent Series: Ascendant.
MTV released the brand new logos for the films with Ascendant carrying the tagline "The end is never what you expect", meaning fans of the books could be in for some exciting surprises.
Taking to Tumblr, series author Veronica Roth admitted she's both nervous and excited about the conclusion to the franchise, because with the new names come new changes explaining "Well, basically, it means there are going to be some changes, but it's really too early to know exactly what those changes will be or the extent of them.
I know changes always make fans of the books - and the author! - nervous, but hopefully the characters we know (and love, or sometimes love to hate?) will still be intact, which is really the important thing."
The Divergent Series: Allegiant is set for release on March 18 next year and the epic finale The Divergent Series: Ascendant hits cinemas a year later on March 24 2017.
