The Hunger Games franchise heroine Jennifer Lawrence takes the lead in The Rosie Project
She returns to cinemas with the finale of the Worldwide phenomena The Hunger Games when Mockingjay - Part 2 thunders into Cinemas this November, and word is that sought after talent Jennifer Lawrence has lined up a romantic "dramedy" The Rosie Project!
The Hollywood Reporter report that Lawrence will take the titular lead role of Rosie which is the adaptation of Graeme Simsion's novel The Rosie Effect, in which a socially anxious, awkward professor formulates a survey to find the perfect partner.
His stringently tested plans are thrown off track when he meets Rosie Jarman (Lawrence), whose personality goes against every requisite his survey demands.
Written by (500) Days of Summer scribes Scott Neustadter and Michael Weber, The Rosie Project is currently looking for a Director, since The LEGO® Movie duo Phil Lord and Christopher Miller were were forced to bow out when they took on the young Han Solo Star Wars Anthology film.
Lawrence is currently working on Passengers, a sci-fi love story co-starring Chris Pratt and will return to her role of Mystique in X-Men: Apocalypse, which is due out on May 19 next year.
