The Fan Carpet Announces The Return Of The /Films/ Page With A Brand New Calendar Look And Long Awaited “Coming Soon” Section

Over the last month, The Fan Carpet has been working tirelessly behind the scenes, making both small and major tweaks across the site.

We’re proud to announce that, after listening closely to your feedback, we have brought back our popular /Films/ page — now with a brand-new calendar-style layout to make browsing the films in our database easier than ever!

Not only that, we’ve also introduced a brand-new “Coming Soon” section. This will include films that have first looks available but don’t yet have a confirmed UK or US release date.

Speaking about the return of the calendar-style /Films/ page, Marc Jason Ali, Managing Creative Director of The Fan Carpet, said “Bringing the /Films/ page back was something we had been planning for a while. To do it properly, our developer needed to understand the ethos of The Fan Carpet: all films are welcome here — budget doesn’t matter.

Indie cinema is where so much creativity lives. So whether it’s a film like Lure, which has just premiered, or Howard J. Ford’s Bone Keeper, screening at Glasgow Film Festival in March — alongside Red Riding next month — we’re not just tracking Hollywood releases (though they’re here too).

This calendar reflects the wider film culture, and that’s what makes The Fan Carpet stand out as a beacon for cinema — big or small — for the past 22 years.”

So have a go — it’s back where it belongs, sitting proudly in our navigation bar!

Enjoy it… we did it for you.
