The Fan Carpet continues its festival coverage with a new series of exclusive interviews from Cinema Made in Italy 2026.

The 16th edition of Cinema Made in Italy launches at BFI Southbank, London, bringing together filmmakers, actors and industry voices for five days of screenings, Q&As and press conversations.

As part of this year’s coverage, The Fan Carpet’s Francisca Cabouco spoke exclusively to Damiano Michieletto, Ludovica Rampoldi, Alessio Rigo de Righi, Leonardo di Costanzo and Laura Samani, discussing their work, their films and the stories behind this year’s festival selection.
