Adapted from Baz Luhrmann’s revolutionary film, MOULIN ROUGE! THE MUSICAL is simply breathtaking!

The timeless classic tells the tragic love story of Christian, a young writer, and Satine, the dazzling star of the Moulin Rouge cabaret in 1899 Paris, as they fall deeply in love amidst a world of Bohemian artists and aristocratic patrons, battling the possessive Duke of Monroth and the club’s owner, Zidler, who wants Satine for himself, all while trying to save the club by staging a revolutionary musical. 

Most of us are familiar with the story brought beautifully to life on screen by Ewan McGregor and Nicole Kidman as Christian and Satine respectively, the roles are given new life here by Liisi LaFontaine and Jamie Bogyo (as Satine and Christian respectively), and not only do they make the roles their own, they elevate the story!

The visuals are stunning and the music is on point and seeing it in this new dimension is just extraordinary, seeing the technical wizardry live on stage is nothing short of mesmerizing. If you’re a fan of musicals, and haven’t seen this one, I’d make a date to the Moulin Rouge!
