Why Every Early Supporter Matters: The Role Of Community, Belief And Independent Filmmaking In Bringing YOUR EYES To The Screen

Independent films are built on more than scripts, cameras and production schedules.

They are built on belief.

Not only from the people creating them, but from the people who choose to support them long before a single frame is filmed.

Throughout the development of YOUR EYES, we have been fortunate to receive encouragement, feedback and support from people who believe in independent storytelling and the creative possibilities it represents.

Every share.

Every conversation.

Every message.

Every supporter.

They all play a role in helping a project move forward.

For more than two decades, The Fan Carpet has championed filmmakers, actors, writers, composers and creatives from across the independent film industry. Through YOUR EYES, we are now experiencing that journey from a different perspective — as creators bringing an original story towards production.

It has reinforced something we have always known:

Independent filmmaking is a collaborative process.

No project is built alone.

Behind every successful independent film is a community of people who believed in it before anyone else did.

As YOUR EYES continues its development through Indiegogo, we remain incredibly grateful to everyone who has followed the project, shared updates, offered encouragement or expressed an interest in becoming part of the journey.

The road from concept to screen is rarely straightforward.

But it is made possible by people who see potential in an idea and choose to support it.

That support helps transform concepts into scripts.

Scripts into productions.

And productions into stories that can ultimately be shared with audiences around the world.

The journey of YOUR EYES is still being written.

And we are grateful to everyone who has chosen to be part of it.

Because every independent film begins with a story.

But it reaches the screen through community.
