SYNOPSIS
NERVOUS. Sarah (Sarah Bolger) and her husband Sungsoo (Sungsoo Yune) move to a house in the Korean countryside in the hope of saving their crumbling marriage. But their new home hides a strange secret – an unmarked vinyl record that plays nothing but silence. After listening to it, Sarah slowly begins to lose the ability to hear men’s voices, and her grip on reality starts to fracture. She becomes isolated from her husband as she is drawn to their enigmatic neighbour, Eunbyeol (Ko Asung), whose raw, erotic presence unsettles and entices her.
As Sarah’s obsession with the vinyl deepens, paranoia, hallucinations, and dangerous desires spiral out of control. With her mind unravelling, she must confront whether the horrors consuming her are psychological, or something far more sinister.
