Melissa Joan Hart was born in Sayville, New York. Melissa shot her first national TV commercial when she was four years old, she’s been working non-stop since then. Melissa’s biggest TV ventures have been Nickelodeon’s Clarissa Explains it All and Sabrina the Teenage Witch.
Melissa has also done theater and appeared in the off-Broadway play Beside Herself with actor William Hurt; she appeared on Broadway in The Crucible. Melissa continues to write an advice column for the popular teen magazine Teen Beat.
Melissa has two children with Mark Wilkerson.
