Date of Birth : Jan 9th 1989
At 2, Nina moved to Canada and has lived in Toronto. From a very young age she showed great enthusiasm and talent for the arts: Dance, Gymnastics, Theatre, Music, Visual arts, and Acting.
Modeling jobs led to commercials, which then turned into film auditions. Shortly after, she booked roles in feature films “Fugitive Pieces”, “Away From Her” and the popular television series “Degrassi: The Next Generation” on CTV.
When Nina first auditioned for The Vampire Diaries she worked really hard and crossed her fingers that I would get the part of Elena but had no idea I would also be playing Katherine.
It wasn’t until much later that Katherine was introduced into the script through the flashbacks and she found out she was both Elena and Katherine.
