British actress. She portrayed Cherie Blair in both the 2006 film The Queen and the 2010 film The Special Relationship. She also portrayed Narcissa Malfoy in the final three Harry Potter films.
McCrory was born in London, England. Her mother, Anne (née Morgans), is Welsh, and her father, Ian McCrory, is a Scottish diplomat born in Glasgow. She is the eldest of three children, consisting of a younger sister, Catherine, and a younger brother, Jon. She was educated at Queenswood School, a boarding school in Hertfordshire, before spending a year living in Italy. Once she returned, McCrory then began studying acting at Drama Centre London.
