Date of Birth : Nov 18th 1987
Jake Abel was born on November 18th, 1987 in a small town named Canton in Ohio. When he took his first steps into the world of acting, he was home-schooled by his mom.
In his late teens, Jake made his acting debut in the Disney movie Go Figure, in which he played Spencer, a hockey coach who seems to have it in for the main character and makes her life difficult. In the same year, he appeared in three episodes of the short-lived science-fiction show Threshold, where he played a young man gone evil due to a virus.
In 2009, he landed the role of Luke Castellan in the first Percy Jackson movie: Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The lightning Thief. The movie is the first adaption of a popular series of five books about youth Percy Jackson, written by Rick Riordan.
Stephenie Meyer’s “The Host” will probably make Jake Abel a household name.
