Kristy Swanson got her first acting gig at age 9 in a commercial and gave up regular schooling at 13 to focus on acting. Her parents are retired teachers and home-schooled her. She is probably best known for playing the title character in the 1992, big screen comedy, horror “Buffy The Vampire Slayer” alongside Donald Sutherland.
Kristy’s debut role was in “Alfred Hitchcock Presents” (1986) in the episode called “The Gloating Place”. Well-known feature films include “Hot Shots!” (1991), “Higher Learning” (1995) and “Dude, Where’s My Car?” (2000).
