British actor who has starred in the musicals Taboo, Avenue Q, La Cava and Rent (remixed) in London as well as in Miss Saigon (UK tour) and other West End and fringe productions, including Small Change and Piaf at The Donmar Warehouse. In 2010, Evans has be seen in Flutter (2010) in the role of Adrian and Blitz (2010) in the role of DI Craig Stokes. Also in 2010, Evans portrayed the lead role of Andy in acclaimed director Stephen Frears’ newest film Tamara Drewe (2010) based on the hugely successful Guardian newspaper comic strip and graphic novel by the same name. Gemma Arterton co-stars.
Evans also starred as the Greek god Apollo in the Clash of the Titans remake, and will play another Greek god, Zeus, in Tarsem Singh’s Immortals.
