SYNOPSIS
GHOSTED. When struggling actress Mercy returns to the dating scene after a bad breakup, she’s confident that meeting guys is easy. After getting turned down for a one night stand with nice guy Michael, she turns to dating apps to speed up the rebounding process. Mercy’s girlfriend’s push her into meeting American architect Blake, who she falls head over heels with on their first date. Fearing that she may never see him again, Mercy decides to take fate into her own hands and does everything that she can to keep him in the picture. Putting her turbulent acting career on the back- burner, she prioritises Blake over the issues of her own life- including her estranged addict mother and some important career opportunities. Ignoring the advice of her friends and sister, if she doesn’t pull her act together, Mercy stands to lose more than just the man of her dreams.
Ghosted is a fun and uplifting story about modern romance with a strong story line. It’s a love story about more than just romantic relationships, written by a the lead actor Jade Asha and directed beautifully with heart by Daniel Pacquette. This movie is not to be missed. Bursting with talent, the film is made up of a diverse ensemble of up and coming British actors.
