This first episode sets out to answer a question haunting our world more than ever: are we heading towards a future worth having, or is innovation leading us towards extinction?
Filmmaker Sindre Kaupang gathers the world’s leading thinkers on existential risk, consciousness, and technological innovation – including neuroscientist Dr. Anil Seth, futurist Dr. Anders Sandberg, and Dhiraj Mukherjee, co-founder of Shazam – in search of answers powerful enough to inspire action.
What he doesn’t anticipate is that the struggle to finish the film will become its most revealing argument. Racing against a deadline with real consequences, Sindre discovers that the principles governing whether a personal mission succeeds or fails are precisely the same principles that will determine whether humanity does.
