SYNOPSIS
STRANGER THINGS 5. The highly anticipated fifth and final season will release on Netflix across three premiere dates with Volume 1 on November 26 (four episodes), Volume 2 on Christmas (three episodes)and The Finale on New Year’s Eve. Each volume releases at 5 PM PT.
The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time.

STRANGER THINGS 4. Splits its narrative across California, Hawkins, and Russia, introducing the terrifying villain Vecna, a powerful entity from the Upside Down who murders traumatized teens, starting with Chrissy, and uses their grief to open gates to his dimension. The group is fractured: Eleven, without powers, faces bullying in California; Joyce and Murray rescue Hopper from a Russian prison; and in Hawkins, Mike, Dustin, and new friend Eddie Munson with The Hellfire Club investigate the killings, while Max struggles with Billy’s death, leading to her near-death and temporary coma, culminating in a massive Upside Down rift opening over Hawkins as Vecna’s plan nears completion.
STRANGER THINGS 3. Follows the Hawkins kids during the summer of 1985, focusing on new romances (Mike & Eleven, Lucas & Max) and the emergence of the massive Starcourt Mall, which hides a secret Russian plot to reopen a gate to the Upside Down beneath it. A possessed Billy Hargrove becomes a key “flayed” host for the Mind Flayer, leading the teens, joined by Steve and Robin, to uncover the Soviet operation and battle a giant creature formed from possessed townsfolk, culminating in Eleven losing her powers and the Byers family moving away, though a post-credits scene hints Hopper might still be alive in a Russian prison.
STRANGER THINGS 2. Follows the gang in late 1984 as Will Byers, back from the Upside Down, suffers terrifying visions of a massive shadow creature, the Mind Flayer, threatening to merge the dimensions, leading to new characters like Max and Billy, Eleven’s journey to find her past, and a massive fight involving glowing tunnels, Demodogs, and a desperate attempt to close the gate to the Upside Down, all while the town deals with a mysterious blight.
STRANGER THINGS 1. Starts in 1983 Hawkins, Indiana, with the disappearance of young Will Byers, triggering a search by his friends (Mike, Dustin, Lucas), his mother Joyce, and Police Chief Hopper, while uncovering a secret government lab, a parallel dimension called the “Upside Down,” and a psychokinetic girl named Eleven who escaped the lab and helps them find Will, battling monsters (Demogorgons) from the other world. The season blends 80s nostalgia with sci-fi horror as the group uncovers an interdimensional conspiracy and a terrifying alternate reality.
