Tatjana Anders, founder of Teapro, welcomed guests to a unique Herbal Tea Blending Workshop in Windsor, inviting attendees to discover the world of wellness tea through creativity, flavour and mindful living.

Held in an intimate artistic setting, the workshop gave guests the chance to create their own personalised herbal tea blends while learning about the history, benefits and uses of a wide range of herbs and ingredients rarely found in traditional supermarket teas.

Speaking to The Fan Carpet during the event, Tatjana explained how Teapro began and why she wanted to bring a deeper understanding of tea culture to UK audiences.

“So I've always been into tea,” Tatjana explained. “Back in 2019 my partner and I decided to create Teapro because we realized that a lot of the teas that you find in supermarkets is just very limited selection. You get English Breakfast tea, Earl Grey tea, maybe chamomile and peppermint, maybe some ginger tea, and that's pretty much it — but it's really just the tip of the iceberg.”

She continued: “There are so many amazing teas to discover, and a lot of them have been used in Ayurveda in India or in Traditional Chinese Medicine in the Far East, and we in the West just have no idea that these herbs even exist.”

Throughout the workshop, guests explored different herbs, flavours and wellness combinations, learning how ingredients can support everything from digestion and relaxation to focus and energy.

Attendee Carolina Trestian described the experience as “quite interesting” and praised the educational side of the class.

“I found today lots of new information for me and lots of discoveries how tea actually can help your body, your immune system and digestive system,” she said.

Carolina also created her own custom blend during the workshop, combining ingredients including lemongrass, rose bud and Greek mountain tea, calling the final tea “Fairy Tale” because of its “greenish, forest” colour and flavour profile.

Another attendee, Anastasia Drago, spoke about her long-standing love of herbal tea and how the workshop introduced her to completely new ingredients and blending techniques.

“The whole experience was amazing,” Anastasia said, encouraging others interested in “health, longevity and new experiences” to attend future workshops.

The atmosphere throughout the session was relaxed, creative and collaborative, with guests comparing blends, sharing ideas and discovering new flavours together.

Tatjana said the positive response from attendees has encouraged her to continue expanding the workshops in both Windsor and London.

“Everyone told me that they've never been to anything like this before,” she said. “That gave me a lot of confidence to just keep creating more events like this.”

Testimonials from previous attendees also highlighted just how unique and memorable the Herbal Tea Blending Workshops have become.

Andreas Reinke described the experience as “a wonderful course in a beautiful setting,” adding that he “learned a lot” and praising Tatjana’s warm personality.

Beth called the session “a brilliant workshop,” saying her favourite part was creating and taking home her own custom tea blend.

For attendee Mara, the workshop offered something more personal and practical. She attended hoping to discover a caffeine-free alternative that could help with focus without the side effects of coffee.

“The workshop really helped me understand what herbs I needed instead of just guessing,” Mara explained. “I ended up with a blend that I’ve actually been reaching for quite a lot. It feels calmer than coffee but I can still focus, which is exactly what I wanted.”

Meriliis Rinne praised both the educational and relaxing sides of the experience, describing the workshop as “a lovely experience” where guests could learn about herbs and create their own personalised blends in a calm and welcoming environment. Nataliia Voloshyna also highlighted the mindful atmosphere of the workshop, describing it as “almost therapeutic” while praising the hands-on creative process of experimenting with different herbs and flavour combinations. Meanwhile, Joshua Blackman described the session as “immersive,” praising both the quality of the teas and the welcoming atmosphere created by Tatjana and the Teapro team. Leon Apukhtin summed up the playful and creative spirit of the workshop perfectly, describing it as “arts and crafts but for tea,” while praising the hands-on nature of creating and naming his own custom blend.

Yelyzaveta Tymchenko praised the practical structure of the workshop, saying the blending techniques finally made herbal tea feel approachable rather than overwhelming.

“I’ve done a lot of wellness stuff and some of it can feel a bit vague,” she explained. “This was actually practical.”

Joshua Brown also praised the tasting and blending elements of the session, saying attendees “actually learn how to balance [herbs] properly instead of guessing,” before proudly admitting that his own tea blend “actually turned out delicious.”

Tatjana hopes to continue growing the workshops in the future and make herbal tea blending more accessible to wider audiences.

“Our mission at Teapro is to turn tea lovers into tea pros,” she said. “So they understand what they're drinking and why they're drinking something.”

If you’re looking for a creative, mindful and genuinely unique wellness experience, Teapro’s Herbal Tea Blending Workshops offer the perfect opportunity to discover new flavours, learn about herbal wellness and create your very own personalised tea blend to take home.
